This design was inspired by the children’s classic book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. White Vanilla Mud Cake with Mango Pineapple Preserve and Coconut Ganache was covered with rolled fondant and decorated with a caterpillar handcrafted from fondant. Discs of coloured fondant and edible images of the various foods the caterpillar munched its way through kept the theme true to the book and a sugar leaf topper completed the design.
