This striking cake was designed for a little lady who loves all things red, all things strawberry and……Spider-Man!! White Strawberry Mud Cake was filled with a column of mini red candy coated chocolates as a ‘surprise inside’ to come tumbling out when cutting cake. (See the effect in the blog post July 2015)

The top tier was covered with a White Chocolate Strawberry Ganache and white sprinkles and a sneaky little Spider-Man handcrafted from sugar peeked out from the red and white striped fondant on the second tier.

The bottom two tiers were  covered in a plain white fondant as the backdrop for the Cake Pops. Vanilla Mud Cake Truffles were dipped in White Vanilla Cheesecake and Red Strawberry chocolate candy coating then decorated with sprinkles and presented in custom made red and white polka dot cups to complement the colour scheme of the party.

Designed to create an impact the bottom two tiers were styrofoam dummies – grandeur and style without blowing the budget or having more cake than needed!

This bright and colourful creation depicts the three types of Pokemon, Fire, Water and Grass, with the ferocious character Charizard sitting menacingly on top. Beneath the sugar paste dragon and the fondant flames, ripples and leaves lay the all time favourite chocolate mudcake but with a twist, the top tier was filled with M&Ms which tumbled out once the cake was cut into – a fun surprise and an extra treat for everyone at the party!

The Pokemon character Rayquaza was handcrafted from sugar and wrapped around Chocolate Mud Cake covered with rolled fondant finished with the Poke Ball in the centre.
